To celebrate Winterthur’s exhibition and conference: With Cunning Needle: Four Centuries of Embroidery, we will be hosting a reception in our gallery Thursday, October 20^th from 3-7pm. We will have many excellent samplers on display, as well as some equally fine fruit and cheese, chocolates and wine to enjoy. Even if you are unable to attend Winterthur's conference, as it is now sold out, we do hope you can come to this reception at our gallery.

Those who attend our reception will receive a free copy of our newly printed catalogue, Samplings XL and this, our 40^th edition, presents 40 outstanding examples.

Winterthur’s needlework conference will include several lectures given by various scholars and curators in the field of needlework with a strong focus on the renowned Plimoth Jacket. We are pleased to have been one of those who provided major funding for the exhibition and honors Winterthur for its enormous contributions in the field.
