How to Buy/Sell
How to Buy
All
of the samplers and needlework pieces shown on our website are available
for sale. Many pieces do sell from our website, and we encourage
you to contact us as soon as you know your interest. We are happy
to email better photos or send a sampler out on approval so that
you may see it in person before making a final decision.
All of our items are guaranteed
authentic and original, and we feel that you must be satisfied with
your purchase. There is a five-day return privilege on all purchases.
We regularly sell to national museums, institutions and historical
societies, and you will find that our material and our research
is highly regarded in the field.
Our inventory is extensive, and many
items that we have for sale are not offered here. You can see other
of our samplers through our print catalogue,
in our shop, and at the antiques
shows at which we exhibit. Many important and intersting samplers
that we have sold in the past are also available for viewing under
"Past Sales". These
will give you a sense of the quality and rarity of samplers that
we handle.
To purchase or to ask
us for more information on any of our samplers, please call us at
800.598.7432 or 215.627.7797. Our fax is 215.627.8199 or email
us. We will be pleased to tell you more about condition, color,
provenance, etc, and we will attempt to answer any questions you
may have. We are happy to provide higher resolution digital images
of a sampler, as well.
Our
prices include expert packing, and we can ship, insured, to any
location worldwide; shipping costs vary with the item and will be
quoted individually. Payment should be made in US dollars, and we
accept checks and major credit cards.

How to Sell
Are
you interested in selling? We are constantly purchasing antique
samplers and needlework and would like to know what you have for
sale, whether one piece or an entire collection. Your privacy will
be respected and we conduct our transaction swiftly.
While the Current
Selections on our website indicates samplers from our inventory,
please also look at our Past Sales
for the type of material that we have sold previously. Many of the
most important samplers in private and museum collections have passed
through our hands in our 30 years of buying and selling.
Depending on the piece,
and each situation tends to be unique, we can purchase outright
or act as your broker. Please mail photographs or email images,
as this will be the first step in our process. Include with the
images a description including size, condition, and anything else
unrecognizable in the photos. Please also enclose your contact information
with the best way and best time to reach you. All images sent to
us will receive our prompt and discreet attention. Please contact
us via email or at 800.598.7432
if you have questions, or for further information.
